About Us

Action Transcripts is a sister business of a transcription company with more than a decade's worth of experience in business. Our parent company specializes in forensic transcription and restoration of hard-to-hear audio. As such, many prospective clients with good quality audio seek out other companies for their regular transcription needs and only come to us with their difficult-to-hear material.

To expand our business and provide our staff with work during business lulls, we have started Action Transcripts to compete with off-shore transcription companies in India, China and elsewhere.

Action Transcripts combines the best of both worlds. Our US staff contracts with transcriptionists in rural parts of the US and Canada and overseas in English-speaking countries to do the transcription. We coordinate the workflow and then check over the transcripts to make sure they meet our quality standards. Second passes and other additional services are done in our offices. This is how we can provide US quality with overseas rates.
